English Scenery is my ‘brainchild’. It is a personal place for me to share the many images I have taken of the beautiful English countryside, scenery, city, town and landscapes over the years. There are over 500 photos to view – all free.

This is not a commercial site and I am not sponsored by the English, or any county tourist boards to promote their regions. These are simply areas and scenery that I have enjoyed visiting over recent years.

I am a keen amateur photographer with a decent Nikon digital SLR camera that rarely leaves my side. I prefer to shoot natural images, which means I never use use photo shop, or similar software, to alter my photographs. What you see is what you get and the images you view on my pages are just as I saw them through my camera view finder.

English scenery images may be used

You are free to use any of the images on my English Scenery website I have posted for any purpose you wish. All I ask for in return is that you credit my name as the originator of the image which is Mike Schwarz. If you want a copy of an original image in particular, or wish to communicate with me about any aspect of the English scenery web site, please use the Contact Form.

I divide my time between the Cotswolds and Hampshire and this is reflected in where I tend to take the bulk of my photos at this time. However, as I move around the UK I will expand my geographic reach and look forward to adding some new counties and regions soon.

There is so much scenery in England to be justly proud of. If through my photography I can help others get a better understanding of the great beauty and amazing variety that surrounds us, then I will be very happy.

Enjoy browsing my English Scenery web site as much as I have enjoyed pulling this collection of photographs together. Check back from time to time for new images.

English Scenery has a sister site

I also maintain a sister site to English Scenery, which is called Cotswold Attractions. Although not a photo site, it is designed to guide people to the many and varied attractions to be found in the Cotswolds, one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty in the UK.
