Views of fine Bodiam Castle [slideshow gallery_id=”4″]

Bodiam is a small village in East Sussex. It nestles in the valley of the River Rother close to the picturesque village of Robertsbridge.

Bodiam Castle is a well preserved, 14th century, picturesque fairytale castle. Spiral staircases, battlements and a portcullis all remain. The gatehouse boasts the original wooden portcullis, a rare surviving feature. Such a photogenic structure from yesteryear!
