Tintern, a designated Conservation Area, is a village on the west bank of the River Wye in Monmouthshire. Just 5 miles from the English border, it is popular with visitors who come to marvel at the ruins of Tintern Abbey.

The old disused Tintern railway station also attracts a lot of interest too.
